Beloved Team Member at Foulk Living Celebrated

Nana, the Director of Sales and Marketing at Foulk Living in Wilmington, is referring to Tirus Marcharia. Last week, the staff at Foulk Living had a birthday party celebrating Tirus, the Director of Nursing in health care at the senior living community.

Tirus has worked at Foulk Living for more than eight years, having started at the community as the Evening Supervisor, followed by MDS Coordinator and Scheduler, and Assistant Director of Nursing. Formerly a Chemical and Biological Weapons Specialist with the U.S. Army, Tirus was recently selected as Delaware’s representative of Future Leaders of Long-Term Care in America through the American Health Care Association/National Center for Assisted Living ((AHCA/NCAL).

For the last several months, Tirus has stepped up to cover for Leslie Johnson, Executive Director at Foulk Living, while she was on leave.

“The staff was excited to celebrate him for his birthday,” said Nana, explaining that Tirus is a tremendous asset to the team. “His positive influence on our residents and staff is an inspiration to us every day in our community.”
